Conditions of Use

Last updated: 9 June 2026

Who these conditions cover

These Conditions of Use apply when you access or use ChargeStack, including the website, client portal, public charging pages, support channels, APIs, and related services. If you use ChargeStack for an organization, you are responsible for making sure your users follow these conditions too.

Using ChargeStack responsibly

ChargeStack is provided to help operators manage EV charging services, pricing, payments, reporting, and related workflows. You must use the service lawfully, honestly, and in a way that does not interfere with ChargeStack, other customers, drivers, payment providers, charger networks, or infrastructure partners.

Fair use policy

You must not abuse the service or use it in a way that places unreasonable load on ChargeStack systems. This includes excessive automated requests, scraping, attempts to bypass normal usage limits, repeated failed requests, bulk activity unrelated to genuine charger operations, or any other activity that materially affects service reliability, security, cost, or performance for ChargeStack or other users.

If we identify activity that appears excessive, unsafe, or inconsistent with fair use, we may contact you, limit or throttle access, suspend affected features, or take other reasonable steps to protect the service.

Prohibited use

You must not use ChargeStack to commit, support, encourage, or hide unlawful activity. You must also not use the service to harm others, threaten others, compromise accounts or systems, distribute malware, abuse payment systems, evade sanctions or legal obligations, misrepresent charger availability or pricing, or interfere with another person's access to charging services.

No direct resale

You must not directly resell, sublicense, white-label, or commercially offer ChargeStack as a standalone service to another party without written permission from ChargeStack. This does not prevent you from using ChargeStack to operate your own EV charging sites, manage chargers for your organization, or charge drivers for legitimate charging sessions.

Account security

You are responsible for keeping account credentials secure, controlling who has access to your organization, and telling us promptly if you believe an account, charger, payment workflow, or integration has been compromised. We may require password resets, session revocation, or additional verification where needed to protect the service.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts, organizations, features, or access to the service if we reasonably believe these conditions have been breached, if the service is being used for criminal activity or to harm others, if continued access creates legal, security, payment, operational, or infrastructure risk, or if required by law or a provider we rely on.

Where appropriate, we will try to contact you before taking action. In urgent cases, including suspected crime, harm, fraud, security compromise, or material service abuse, we may act immediately.

Changes to these conditions

We may update these conditions from time to time as the service, legal requirements, or operational risks change. The latest version will be published on this page, and continued use of ChargeStack after an update means the updated conditions apply.
