This policy explains how ChargeStack handles personal information for people who visit our website, register for the portal, operate chargers through ChargeStack, contact support, or use a public ChargeStack-powered charging page.
Information we collect
- Account and business details such as name, email address, organization name, business address, country, currency, and tax identifiers where provided.
- Operational details needed to run EV charging services, including sites, chargers, connectors, charging sessions, pricing settings, invoices, support requests, and audit records.
- Payment and billing status from payment providers. Card and bank account details are handled by Stripe and are not stored by ChargeStack.
- Website, portal, and security information such as device, browser, IP address, login activity, authentication events, and basic usage logs.
How we use information
We use personal information to create and secure accounts, provide the ChargeStack portal, support charger operations, process billing workflows, send transactional notices, respond to support requests, improve the service, and meet legal or security obligations.
Marketing contact and unsubscribe
When you register, we may add your email address to our marketing contact list so we can send product updates, launch information, and related ChargeStack news. If you ask to receive product updates from the marketing site, we will send a confirmation email before adding you to a marketing list. Marketing emails will include an unsubscribe link, and you can also ask us to remove you by emailing [email protected].
Service providers
We use trusted providers to operate the service, including infrastructure, email delivery and contact management, analytics or logging, and payment processing. These providers may process information only as needed to provide services to ChargeStack.
Security and retention
We use access controls, authentication, audit logs, and operational safeguards to protect information. We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain records, resolve disputes, meet legal requirements, and protect the platform.
